Distinguished Guests, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, good day!
As we commemorate the 7th United Nations-declared International Day of Conscience, many wars continue to rage across the world. The flames of conflict have claimed countless innocent lives, shattered the hopes and dreams of innumerable families, sparked humanitarian crises, and eroded trust between individuals and among nations—making the realization of global peace and sustainable development ever more distant.
War brings fear, grief, and suffering, trapping humanity in a mire of conflict and the shackles of hatred. To break this vicious cycle, we must address its root causes and seek change from within. At this critical moment, the light of hope inspired by conscience is more precious than ever. Conscience ignites the flame of hope, inspiring compassion and acts of kindness. Even amid the shadows of war and conflict, it enables us to believe in the boundless power of love and peace. It empowers individuals to resolve conflicts and misunderstandings with wisdom and to defuse crises—ultimately bringing harmony, hope, and stability to all living beings on Earth.
At this critical juncture, I sincerely call upon leaders from all sectors to embrace a thought of kindness to foster blessings for all. Let us apply our conscience, put an end to violence, embrace love for the world, and illuminate hope and light for humanity. Through education and inspiration, everyone can put conscience into practice in daily life. When all professions uphold conscience as their foundation, they can foster a culture of excellence, enabling enterprises to benefit humanity and create sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes. Guided by conscience, the world can be transformed—from individuals to families, communities, and nations—forming ever-expanding circles of positive energy and laying a solid foundation for a world of love and peace.
Our Earth is the shared home of all humanity. As technology advances, the scale and speed of human action have accelerated, giving each individual’s behavior a more profound and far-reaching impact on the world than ever before. Whether artificial intelligence or other technologies, they are double-edged swords; only by embracing conscience as our guiding principle and making it the core value of oversight can we ensure that technology serves as a steadying force—a balance that safeguards the well-being of all life on our planet.
At moments of critical choice, unleashing the power of conscience enables individuals to set aside self-interest, uphold justice, and open a new chapter in global governance. Transparency and integrity are not only fundamental virtues in personal conduct, but also guiding principles of governance; they foster sincere human relationships and build trust and harmony among nations. When individuals and countries place conscience at the core—practicing transparency and integrity through actions guided by conscience—they can safeguard the natural and social environment, transform the course of the world, turn crisis into stability, and create new hope and opportunities for peace.
When conscience becomes our common language, and acts of kindness become the shared aspiration and practice of all, the light of love, peace, and hope will pierce the darkness and bring comfort to every heart. We are deeply grateful to all those who have stepped forward with conscience and courage. Life is finite, but true love is boundless. May we uphold conscience and integrity together, safeguarding the Earth and all humanity.
Thank you all!
May all hearts and minds be attuned to awakened conscience.
May all enjoy peace and good health forever, and may peace endure.
