President of Costa Rica Made the Wish for Rio+20 and the World

 

Reverberating sound of bell crossed the sky of Brazil. The crystal sound of the bell cleaned people's hearts and instill positive energies. At 18:30 on the June 21, President of Costa Rica, H.E. Laura Chinchilla Miranda rang the bell of love and peace in Rio+20 at HSBC Arena. H.E. Laura Chinchilla Miranda made the wish for Costa Rica, for Rio+20 and for the sustainable development of the world, "For peace to prevail among the peoples of the world and between human beings and nature."

Culture Goodwill Group organized by UN/NGO Association of World Citizens and Federation of World Peace and love and Tai Ji Men brought the Bell of Love and Peace which has traveled around the globe and been rung by global leaders. Former president of Costa Rica, H.E. Oscar Arias Sanchez, 1987 Nobel peace prize laureate, also rang the bell in 2001 and made his wish "For the whole world to enjoy peace. "President of Costa Rica, H.E. Laura Chinchilla Miranda was the 258th ringer. The reverberating sound of the bell inspires people's hearts, instills a force of stability and peace, and prompts people to realize the urgency of immediate actions to tackle the crises that are approaching.

Costa Rica, which means "Rich Coast", constitutionally abolished its army permanently. H.E. Laura Chinchilla Miranda point out why she appreciate the ceremony of ringing the bell because it has to do with the most important values that Costa Rica has embraced. She said, "because we don't want war in the world and we have also developed a very important social policy in order to bring peace to our people and to our families and finally we are here in Rio de Janeiro with the rest of the leaders of the world working for a peaceful world, a world that can live along with nature without damaging it. So peace is quiet important for my country. It has been a decoy for the policy and we try to support all peaceful courses around the world.
